JORHAT: A fully grown adult male leopard was trapped at Saruchorai Tea Estate in the wee hours on Friday after Jorhat division placed a cage on Wednesday last with a goat prey on receiving a complaint from the garden manager Rajib Barooah, informed Tonkeswar Gayan, a Forest Official here. The male leopard was creating terror for past several days, ate seven goats and four cows and even tried to attack a group of female workers during plucking hours on Monday last. The leopard has been suspected to have skid out from Kaziranga National Park and making movement along the Brahmaputra shore areas, said the Forest Official here.
