Lok Adalat organized in Dibrugarh district

DIBRUGARH: The Dibrugarh district administration in association with District Legal Service Authority has organized Lok Adalat on Saturday at DC office, Dibrugarh to dispose cases of public complaints. The Lok Adalat began at about 10:00 am in the morning and the quite a good number of people appeared at DC office infront of ADMs and EMs to resolve their filed complaints.

A total of 288 cases,147 numbers of cases of 107 CrPc were disposed. ADM Jitu Kumar Das disposed 31 out of 50 cases alloted to him, ADM Biswajit Phukan disposed 5 out of 19, ADC Dr.Monika Borah disposed 41 out of 58, SDO (Sadar) Debasish Bora disposed 5 out of 20, EM Srabana Sonowal disposed 18 out of 27, EM Queen Gogoi disposed 7 out of 32, EM Prithvi Raj Saikia disposed 25 out of 51, EM Trisiddha Nath disposed 15 out of 31 which makes a total of 147 cases out of 288 total.

The public has been guaranteed by the district administration that Lok Adalats will be held to hear public complaints, resolve issues, and constantly commit their services to the people of Dibrugarh District for any kind of assistance.
