LPG consumers rue poor home delivery of cylinders in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: LPG consumers of Kokrajhar town expressed their anguish over the poor home delivery service of LPG cylinders and alleged that there could be a deal with black marketeers as the cylinders are easily available with them. Most of the consumers in Kokrajhar said that they never receive gas cylinders as per norms.

Talking to this reporter, U Brahma of Mithingapuri, Kokrajhar and his friends said that they had registered for home delivery at Gold Touch distributor at Baganshali in Kokrajhar town. They said that they were happy with the home delivery service initially but of late the service has become poor.

The distributor fails to deliver the cylinders on time, they said and added that the LPG cylinders were easily available with black marketeers. He urged the district administration and consumer affairs department to look into the matter. Other consumers also alleged that they were facing similar problems. LPG cylinders are not delivered on time.
