BAKSA: The body of a man from Sashipur Village under Darrangamela Police Out Post in Baksa district was found dead with his throat slit. The body was recovered along the Indo-Bhutan border on Sunday.

The deceased person has been identified as Gosain Biswas (40), a temporary resident of Sashipur along Indo-Bhutan border under Tamulpur Police Station in Baksa district. According to sources, unknown miscreants killed the man by slitting his throat late Saturday night. was killed near his house. There was no member of his family in the house at the time of this incident.

Locals informed the Darrangamela Police out post. A police team from Darrangamela Police Out Post rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

Probe is on to determine as to who is responsible for the heinous killing and why they committed the heinous crime.
