Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti extends greetings on Ramadan and Rongali Bihu

LAKHIMPUR: The central committee of the Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti (MASS) extended greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Rongali Bihu through a press communiqué. Through the same press communiqué, countersigned by secretary Raju Singha, the organization also extended greetings to the people of the Muslim community on the occasion of the sacred month of Ramadan.

In the upcoming new year of the Assamese calendar, the organization expected resolution of all the problems of insurgency in the State by holding talks with all revolutionary organizations in an honourable environment without any conditions. In this regard, the organization urged the government to take initiative at earliest. Simultaneously, the organization appealed to the revolutionary organizations to come back to the mainstream. Further, the organization expected the resources of Assam to be used for the welfare of the people of the State.
