BARPETA: Manas National Park or Manas Wildlife Sanctuary will reopen on October 2. The chief forest conservator, AM Singh will inaugurate the reopening programme at Bahbari range. Another chief conservator, Amit Saha will also be present. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the park remained close since March 17. The Park authority has decided to reopen the park for the tourists. But tourists will have to maintain strict COVID protocol while entering the park, said the Range Officer of Bahbari range, Babul Brahma. In one jeep only three tourists can sit and mask is compulsory.
