Mangaldai MP Dilip Saikia inaugurates Griha Pravesh Samaroh

MANGALDAI: Mangaldai MP Dilip Saikia inaugurated several new dwelling houses built for the BPL families of Mangaldai town under the 'PMAY- Urban , Assam' on Monday. In this connection Mangaldai Municipality authorities organized an event 'Griha Pravesh Samaroh- 2022' .

Speaking on the occasion, MP Saikia said that this mega dwelling house scheme has been launched by PM Modi-led BJP government at the centre for the BPL families for both rural and the urban. In Assam, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma-led State government has been playing an active role for timely completion of the houses and thus brought smiles on the faces of many needy families like Pulakananda Rajkhowa, Nagen Deka, Ayatul Nesa etc. Mangaldai Municipality Board chairperson Nirmali Devi Sharma, former MLA Guru Jyoti Das and others were present.
