Mangaldai Police arrested two with FICN at Bhebarghat area

MANGALDAI: A team of Mangaldai Police Station promptly acting on the inputs received from Superintendent of Police Sushanta Biswa Sarma, apprehended two persons at Bhebarghat area of Mangaldai town and recovered 557 numbers of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) in the denomination of Rs 500 from their possession. Both the criminals have been identified as Rafikul Ali of Uttar Kalikhola Village, and Jun Ali of Goriajhar in Udalguri district. The arrested criminals were caught red-handed while trying to deliver the fake currency notes to fetch an amount of Rs 2,78,500.
