Mangaldai police recovers fake currency printing machine from a gang of dacoits

MANGALDAI: Mangaldai police on the night of August 15 busted a gang of dacoits and recovered a fake currency printing machine from their possession. Talking to ‘The Sentinel’ Police Inspector Niranjan Barua said that the police acting on a tip-off about the conspiracy hatched by the gang of robbers to commit robbery, arrested Ahijul Ali (21), son of Kalia Ali of village Chamuapara, Makibar Rahman (40), son of Ashrafuddin Ahmed, of village Dakhin Bokrajhar and Abdul Zalil (31), son of Rahman Ali of village Kumarpara -all under Mangaldai Police Station and recovered the machine. All the three accused have been booked in connection with Mangaldai Police Station Case Number 646/2019 under section 392 of IPC.
