Manvendra Pratap Singh Takes Charge As New DC of Sonitpur

Tezpur: Manvendra Pratap Singh officially took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur district on Tuesday. He was serving as Deputy Commissioner of Dhemaji before joining in Sonitpur.

Manvendra Pratap Singh, IAS, took charge from outgoing Deputy Commissioner Narsing Pawar, IAS, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Dhemaji. Narsing Pawar had joined as Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur on January 21, 2019.

The officials and staff of the Deputy Commissioner’s office gave a formal farewell to outgoing DC Narsing Pawar on Monday morning in the presence of senior district administration officials and heads of various departments. The officials also extended a hearty welcome to the new Deputy Commissioner, who sought the support and cooperation of everyone in working for the welfare of the district.
