TINSUKIA: Margherita civil administration sealed a medical store in Jagun after its proprietor was found treating patients without any authentic prescription from registered medical practitioners on Tuesday.

Based on public complaint, Pranjal Pratim Bhuyan, ADC in-charge, along with officials of the local police station, busted the store house of Rumi Medical Store and detected that the proprietor, Abib Hussain was attending to few patients in a makeshift nursing room with beds in the storehouse of his pharmacy and administering medicines and drips on the patients. Allegedly, he was treating the naive locals and no COVID test was done on them. The quack practitioner and proprietor Hussain is yet to be arrested under appropriate provision of law.
