Marwari Sammelan contributes for families of Pulwama martyrs

LAKHIMPUR: Marwari Sammelan of Lakhimpur extended its helping hand to the bereaved families of the brave jawans of CRPF who were martyred in the terror attack at Pulwama in South Kashmir on February 14. A delegate of the organization, led by president Manik Lal Damani, secretary Nanda Kishor Bajaj and executive member-cum-Maheswari Sabha president Rajesh Malpani handed over a cheque of Rs. 41,101to Lakhimpur DC Dr. Jeevan B at his office for the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund on Wednesday. The fund was collected from the people of Marwari society by Marwari Sammelan and its women wing, Marwari Yuva Mancha, Marwari Yuva Mancha Pragati Sakha, Maheswari Sabha, Jain Sabha, Brahman Sabha and Agrasen Jayanti Samiti of North Lakhimpur.
