SARUPATHAR: Despite challenges in these desperate times, an NGO named Marwari Yuva Manch, Sarupathar Shikhar is actively engaged in helping those in need by providing ration kits and food, in collaboration with Dhansiri police administration.
The volunteers of the NGO take necessary precautions by wearing hand gloves, face masks and hand sanitizers during ration kits distribution. Marwari Yuva Manch, Sarupathar Shikhar is engaged in feeding those who need food anywhere in Dhansiri subdivision during this pandemic. The NGO has been providing food and essential items to the needy and poor. It has also set up a free vaccination camp in Sarupathar.
The NGO was established on June 29 this year and has approximately 23 active members. The mind behind the initiative is SDPO Trinayan Bhuyan himself. The NGO has successfully delivered 112 ration kits to the needy. Each ration kit consists of 5 kg rice, 2 kg potatoes, 400 ml mustard oil, 1 kg pulses, 500 gram salt, 1 packet chili powder and 1 packet turmeric.
