Mass people are with United People’s Party Liberal: Pramod Boro
KOKRAJHAR: A grand mass gathering of the ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) was organized at Debitola High School playground near Kazigaon in the Parbathjora subdivision in the Kokrajhar district on Saturday. BTC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pramod Boro said the mass population of BTAD is with the UPPL.
During the mass gathering, more than 300 new members from different parties and organizations, including BPF, AIUDF, and Congress, joined the UPPL in the presence of the party president, the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro, and other senior party leaders.
Boro welcomed and felicitated the newly joined leaders with traditional Aronai. The Parbathjora committee of the UPPL organized the mass gathering amid huge participation from different parts of the district.
BTC CEM Pramod Boro, Assam Cabinet Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Rajya Sabha MP, and the party’s working president, Rwngwra Narzary, the party’s general secretaries, Raju Kumar Narzary, Madhab Chandra Chetry, MLAs Lawrence Islary, and Jayanta Basumatary, graced the event and addressed the gathering.
CEM Boro, who is also UPPL president, said the UPPL gained mass support from various communities in the Bodoland region. He said that the UPPL-led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government in the Bodoland Territorial Region has focused on all-round development of the region and the economic development of all citizens since its inception. He also said several missions and visions have been launched in BTR to bring sustainable development to the region.
Boro said the UPPL was committed to working for integrity and tranquilly among all sections of society. He promised that the BTR government had prepared various sustainable development projects in the Parbathjora area.
Boro lauded the organizers for carrying out the grand mass gathering, which witnessed massive participation from people, and said that the gathering was an example of how mass people are with the UPPL.
