Medical and veterinary camp held at Gandapukhuri village in Darrang district

TANGLA: The 21st Battalion of the Madras Regiment of Indian Army under Red Horns Division organized, as part of 'Operation Sadbhavana', a medical and veterinary aid camp at Gandapukhuri village in Darrang district on Saturday.

According to reports, the camp was held with the aim of reaching out to maximum individuals in the remote regions of the region. The event was organized by Army in collaboration with the District Health Department, Darrang district. The programme was able to bring to the local community essential medical treatment and medicines wherein medical aid was provided to 1,072 individuals and 694 cattle from the locality. Pertinently the event was part of a series of medical and veterinary camps being organized in the terror-stricken regions of Lower Assam by the unit of Indian Army.
