Meeting held for selection of beneficiaries of Arunodoi scheme in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: To discuss the implementation of the Arunodoi scheme in Golaghat district, a meeting was held at the Sat Sadhani Kala Kshetra on Tuesday.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat, Bibhash Chandra Modi where Block Development Officers of eight development blocks of Golaghat, Gaon Panchayat secretaries, president, Anchalik Panchayat member and ZPC members were present.

The meeting briefly discussed about selection of beneficiaries for Arunodoi scheme. The Arunodoi scheme is an endeavour to empower the women of the State and to provide financial support to the economically vulnerable families. Under the scheme, priority will be given to households with widows, divorced, unmarried or separated women, and disabled persons.
