Meeting held on measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Dima Hasao

HAFLONG: In view of the lifting of the two weeks lockdown that came to an end on Sunday and to discuss prohibitory measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Dima Hasao, an emergent meeting was held with Executive Members i/c Medical, N C Hills Autonomous Council Samuel Changsan in the chair at the office chamber of Jt. Director, Health Services.

The meeting was held in presence of the Executive Members, Ngamrothang Hmar and Nandita Gorlosa along with MAC, Liton Chakraborty and Senior Leader and Vice Chairman, DPB, Donphainon Thaosen,

Doctors and officials from all Block Public Health Centers (BPHCs), Superintendent and officials of Haflong Civil Hospital, officials of NHM along with NCHAC Secretary, T T Daulagupu and Jt. Director Health Services Dr. Dipali Barman participated in the meeting to discuss on various issues and measures involved in executing the exercises adopted for prevention of corona during the meeting.

All three EMs who are also the in charge of the Border Checkgates at Manderdisa, Ditokcherra and Diyungbra are working in close coordination with the medical teams in order to prevent probable spreading of virus from outside the district.

After prolong discussion several resolutions adopted like Mandatory swab sample test (both Rapid and RTPCR) for all those who enter Dima Hasao from other districts on July 20 and 21.

From 22nd July, ATSP (Assam Targeted Surveillance Programme) swab sample test will be conducted for all persons entering Dima Hasao.
