Meeting on Japanese Encephalitis and vector-borne diseases held in Dhubri

DHUBRI: A District Task Force meeting on Acute Encephalitis Syndrome, Japanese Encephalitis and other vector-borne diseases was held at the Deputy Commissioner's conference hall under the chairmanship of ADC (H) on Wednesday.

Officials from health departments and dignitaries from different line departments were present in the meeting. Dhubri District Vector Borne Disease Consultant presented a power-point presentation regarding the various programme indicators of the last three years along with action taken from inter-sectoral departments. After threadbare discussion, various resolutions were taken to combat the menace of vector-borne diseases.
