Memorial lecture of social worker Putu Devi Pandey organized in Morigaon

MORIGAON: In memory of social worker Putu Devi Pandey, a lecture was organized by Morigaon Lekhika Sangstha at Gandhi Bhawan on Monday. The first ever Putu Devi Pandey memorial lecture was held with a daylong programme led by the president of MLS Sewali Barkatai and the secretary of MLS Rita Mishra Goswami in presence of distinguished guests, women and the local public here.

In the programme noted intellectualist, writer and critic Mayur Bora attended as the chief guest in the programme. A seminar on the topic, 'The role of woman in protecting the pride of the nation' was held. Noted intellectualist Mayur Bora spoke on the said topic at length.
