Meritorious students of HSLC and HS are felicitated in biennial conference

JAMUGURIHAT: A total of 23 meritorious students who passed the HSLC and HS examinations with first division and above were felicitated in the biennial conference of the Gamiripal Village Development Committee held in the conference hall of Gamiripal, near here, with Padma Sarma, president of the village development committee, in the chair today.

Bikas Acharya, secretary of the organisation, explained the objectives at the very beginning. Anjan Baskota, a columnist, graced the occasion as an appointed speaker. Addressing the meritorious students, Baskota asked them to be human beings first instead of hankering after success, percentages, and rankings.

A total of 23 meritorious students, including 15 from the HSLC examination, 7 from the HS examination, and one Navodaya entrance-passed student, were felicitated with a citation and gamosa.
