UDALGURI: "Education is the key for the upliftment of downtrodden society," said the speakers assembled to felicitate topper students of Hindi Bhasi at Udalguri. The Hindi Bhasi people of Udalguri were urged to give importance to educate their children. The speakers delivered their speeches at the felicitation programme at Prithiraj Club organised by Udalguri anchalik committee of Akhil Hindi Bhasi Yuva Chhatra Parishad. The meeting was chaired by Amit Chouhan and the purpose was explained by Lajpat Chouhan the general secretary of Udalguri anchalik committee of Akhil Hindi Bhasi Yuva Chhatra Parishad. Rajendra Prasad Chouhan, president of Udalguri district committee of the organization welcoming the session resented the present status of Hindi Bhasi people at Udalguri. Baidyanath Upadhyaya, scribe from The Sentinel, Rewatiraman Sapkota and former MCLA Ripen Daimary delivered their discourses to the school children. The toppers of HSLC and HS of Udalguri area were felicitated by the Akhil Hindi Bhasi Yuva Chhatra Parishad with a gamocha and a citation. The meeting was also attended by Ramkrishna Chouhan, Birendra Gupta and others.
