Minister Ajanta Neog inaugurated Door-to-door pipeline gas services in Golaghat town

GOLAGHAT: Minister Ajanta Neog inaugurated door-to-door pipe gas service in Golaghat town area under the initiative of Assam Gas Company Limited on Friday in Golaghat at a meeting held at the Amatuer Theatre Hall.

Minister Ajanta Neog instructed the Golaghat Municipality Board to take initiative for approval to implement the pipe gas service in the municipality area. She also said that through this pipe gas service, the residents would be benefited and she appealed to people to provide coordination to implement the scheme. In this meeting, the chairman of Assam Gas Company Limited, Bolin Chetia said that people can avail the pipeline gas service by registration with payment of Rs 500. The consumers can pay a monthly bill through a mobile app. Use of pipeline gas can reduce accidents. "We are aiming to cover one lakh families under the pipeline gas service," said chairman Bolin Chetia.
