Minister Atul Bora takes stock of COVID situation in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Agriculture and Veterinary Minister Atul Bora along with local MLAs and officers of Golaghat administration reviewed COVID-19 situation and management in Golaghat district at Golaghat Shahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital on Friday.

In the meeting, MLA of Khumtai, Mrinal Saikia and MLA of Sarupathar, Bishwajit Phukan along with Deputy Commissioner Bivash Chandra Modi Superintendent of Police Pushp Raj Singh along with health officials were present.

Minister Atul Bora discussed the COVID situation in Golaghat district. Recently, there was a serious complaint regarding Golaghat COVID Hospital that due to lack of oxygen cylinders, COVID patients were not getting proper treatment and there was also lack of transportation facilities for COVID patients to go home after recovery. So the minister had a talk on all these issues and called upon all doctors and medical personnel to render selfless service by sorting out the problems.
