SARUPATHAR: State Industry, Commerce and Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary visited the office of South Block Sarupathar in Dhansiri subdivision on Friday and reviewed the COVID situation. The minister also strictly ordered the police administration to deal with lockdown violators. Chandra Mohan Patowary also said that Sarupathar Hospital would have Operation Theatre (OT) soon, five ambulances will be provided and five more doctors for COVID Care Centres will be appointed so that Sarupathar Hospital can provide better healthcare service to people.

MLA Biswajit Phukan of 94-Sarupathar LAC, Deputy Commissioner Manavendra Pratap Singh, SDO civil, Rahul Javir Suresh, Chief Secretary (medical) Anurag Goyal, Joint Director (medical) Arun Chandra Mahanta, Superintendent of Police (SP) Robin Kumar, SDPO Trinayan Bhuyan and ADC of Golaghat district were also present at the meeting in Sarupathar.
