Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu inaugurated Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre at Sivasagar Civil Hospital

SIVASAGAR: A nutrition rehabilitation centre was inaugurated by the Education Minister of Assam, Dr Ranoj Pegu at Sivasagar Civil Hospital, Joysagar recently. Arrangements will be made to keep all children suffering from malnutrition from 6 (six) months to 5 years of age at the centre. It may be mentioned that children suffering from acute malnutrition in the past have been sent to nutrition rehabilitation centre located at Moran in Dibrugarh district. At the inaugural function, Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner MN Dahal was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Health, Superintendent and staff of Sivasagar Civil Hospital.
