Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah to review Cachar post-flood situation

SILCHAR: Minister for PHE, SEEDS & Tourism Jayanta Malla Baruah will visit three districts of the Barak valley to review the post-flood situation. The minister will arrive in Silchar in the morning on Monday and will hold a meeting with the flood assessment team and district administration in the presence of MPs and MLAs concerned at Silchar DC Conference Hall at noon. Minister Malla Baruah will also hold a meeting with the PHE departmental officials and Jal Jeevan Mission in the presence of the Chief Engineer. On the same day, minister Mallabaruah will hold a meeting at the conference hall with the officials of the SEED and District Skill Development Committee in the presence of MP, MLAs and the DC.

Later in the evening, the minister is scheduled to hold a meeting with the social media team at Silchar Circuit House. The next day on July 26, the minister will leave for Karimganj via Badarpur and will come back to Silchar after completing various programs there.

On July 27, the minister will participate in various programmes in the Hailakandi district and will return to Silchar on the same day.
