Minister Parimal Suklabaidya inspects relief delivery to flood-affected people in Dholai

SILCHAR: Minister for Transport, Fisheries and Excise, Parimal Suklabaidya on Monday visited Borjalenga and Narsinghpur development blocks in Dholai to inspect the delivery of relief materials received from the State government for the flood-affected people of his constituency.

These relief materials will be distributed to the affected people across all the gaon panchayats under Dholai.

During his visit to Narsinghpur block, Suklabaidya held an important meeting with various GP presidents and AP members and directed them to ensure smooth distribution of the relief materials through efficient and fast delivery mechanism.

The Minister also expressed his gratitude towards Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma for his prompt intervention and response to the grim situation and ensuring all necessary help towards the flood-affected people of Barak Valley, stated a press release.
