Minister Pijush Hazarika takes stock of COVID situation in Morigaon district

MORIGAON: State Water Resource Minister Pijush Hazarika on Saturday visited Morigaon district and took stock of the COVID-19 situation at Morigaon Civil Hospital.

The minister held a discussion with the district administration and took stock of hospital bed, oxygen arrangement, list of vaccinated persons, list of patients being home isolated and supply of medicine to the isolated patients. The minister asked the Deputy Commissioner to keep watch over the home isolated patients so that the virus does not get transmitted to other people.

The minister instructed the district administration to strictly admit the COVID patients who are above 50 years of age in the hospital.
