Minister UG Brahma holds meeting on various issues of BTC

KOKRAJHAR: The Minister of Handloom and Textiles, Soil Conservation and Welfare of Bodoland Department (WBD), UG Brahma held a meeting in the presence of Chief Executive Member (CEM) of BTC, Pramod Boro on various issues of entrusted departments to BTC at the Secretariat conference hall, Bodofa Nwgwr on Thursday.

The minister discussed the status of BTR accord, implementation of Non Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR), manpower status of BTC and the rules of BTC Legislative Assembly sent to Government of Assam for the Governor's approval. He also discussed various issues relating to BTR accord.

Chaired by Shantanu P. Gotmare, the meeting was also attended by MLA Lawrence Islary, MCLA Madhav Chandra Chetri, Mukesh Sahoo, Principal Secretary to the Govt of Assam, Shantanu P Gotmare, Principal Secretary of BTC, Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries and other higher officials.
