TEZPUR: The Minister for Handloom & Textile, Soil Conservation, Urkhao Gwra Brahma visited the Borati Piped Water Supply Scheme (retrofitting) under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), (PHE, Division II) and inspected the Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) and interacted with one Bhailal Gowla of Borati village in Sonitpur district regarding the FHTC installed at his household. The FHTC target of the said PWSS is 277 out of which 238 FHTCs have been covered till date.
Thereafter, the minister also visited the Ghatuwa Anganwadi Centre under Gabharu ICDS project with 67 beneficiaries (6 months -3 years - 30, 3 to 6 yrs - 37, pregnant women - 6 and 3 lactating mother) and inspected the Poshan Vatika in the premises of the Anganwadi wherein the AWW apprised about the various nutritious food that had been planted. He also inspected the growth monitoring charts and the growth monitoring devices in the Anganwadi. The AWW also displayed the growth monitoring exercise conducted by the devices.
The minister also inspected the standalone PWSS installed under JJM at the Ghotuwa Anganwadi Centre. The minister visited the COVID Vaccination Centre at Dhekiajuli BPHC and took an overview of the ongoing vaccination. During this visit, he interacted with the medical staff and beneficiaries present. Thereafter, he visited Dhekiajuli CHC and interacted with the medical staff and reviewed the infrastructure and services provided in the hospital. Later, he also visited the Government Eri Seed Grainage at Jamuguri.
