Missamari HS School Principal selected for State Award for teachers 2020

DHEKIAJULI: Kanak Chandra Bordoloi, Principal of Missamari HS School has been selected for the State Award for teachers, 2020, which will be conferred on him on Teachers' Day at a State-level function to be held at the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra auditorium in Guwahati.

Kanak Bordoloi completed his Master's degree in English from NEHU, Shillong in 1992. He started his career as a lecturer in Darrang College . He joined Missamari HS School as a subject teacher in 1993. He also served as District Programme Officer in SSA, Sonitpur on government deputation. He became the Principal of Missamari HS School on regular basis from October, 2017.

Kanak Bordoloi wrote several books like A Brief History of English Literature, Loudscope and Kabitar Dore Kobita Nohoi. Sonitpur District Principal Forum greeted Kanak Bordoloi for his achievement. In a message, the forum said that they were extremely happy and Kanak Bordoloi had brought the laurels to Sonitpur district.
