More special trains to run in NFR to clear rush of passengers

GUWAHATI: To clear extra rush of passenger during festive season, it has been decided to run some special trains from next week. The special trains will run - for four trips each between Dibrugarh and Puri; one trip each between Anand Vihar (T) - Katihar, Delhi - Katihar and Anand Vihar (T) - Jogbani and for two trips each between New Jalpaiguri and Kanyakumari.

Among these special trains are–

* Train No. 05970 Dibrugarh - Puri Festival Special will run for four trips - on November 7, November 14, November 21 and November 28, 2021(Sunday) leaving from Dibrugarh at 19-25 hours to reach Puri at 11-00 hours on Tuesday. In return direction, Train No. 05969 Puri - Dibrugarh Festival Special will run for four trips - on November 10, November 17, November 24 and December 1, 2021(Wednesday) leaving from Puri at 05-00 hours to reach Dibrugarh at 20-50 hours on Thursday.

*Train No. 09644/09643 Anand Vihar (T) - Katihar - Anand Vihar (T) Festival special will run for one trip from each direction. The train will leave from Anand Vihar (T) at 17-10 hours on October 31, 2021 to reach Katihar junction at 20-00 hours on next day. In return direction, the train will leave from Katihar junction at 23-30 hours on November 1, 2021 to reach Anand Vihar (T) at 00-45 hours on the third day.

*Train No. 09634/09633 Delhi - Katihar - Delhi Festival special will run for one trip from each direction. The train will leave from Delhi at 15-05 hours on November 1, 2021 to reach Katihar junction at 19-30 hours on next day. In return direction, the train will leave from Katihar junction at 22-30 hours on November 2, 2021 to reach Delhi at 02-45 hours on the third day.

*Train No. 09632/09631 Anand Vihar (T) - Jogbani - Anand Vihar (T) Festival special will run for one trip from each direction. The train will leave from Anand Vihar (T) at 15-30 hours on November 1, 2021 to reach Jogbani at 23-15 hours on next day. In return direction, the train will leave from Jogbani at 01-20 hours on November 3, 2021 to reach Anand Vihar (T) at 08-45 hours on next day.

*Train No. 05706 New Jalpaiguri - Kanyakumari Festival Special will run for two trips - on November 5 and November 12, 2021(Friday) leaving from New Jalpaiguri at 15-10 hours to reach Kanyakumari at 22-00 hours on Sunday. In return direction, Train No. 05705 Kanyakumari - New Jalpaiguri Festival Special will run for two trips - on November 8 and November 15, 2021 (Monday) leaving from Kanyakumari at 17-30 hours to reach New Jalpaiguri at 00-10 hours on Thursday.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers have been requested to observe the COVID-19 related safety measures and instructions of their respective States during journey, stated a press release.
