Morigaon District Agriculture Department distributed seedlings among farmers

MORIGAON: A seedling distribution programme was organized by the Morigaon District Agriculture Department on Friday at Ouzari Seed Farm in the district.

The department distributed seedlings of paddy crops raising community nursery for the flood-affected farmers under RKVY 20-21.Agriculture Officer Deepjyoti Hazarika distributed the variety of Bahadur sub-1 among the farmers. The farmers have started planting the seedling of the paddy crops on 3 ha land. The initiative taken by the department will surely provide some relief to the flood-affected farmers.
