Morigaon Manaha Gaon Panchayat declared tobacco-free zone

MORIGAON: The CEO of Morigaon Zila Parishad, Kishor Thakuria declared the Manaha Gaon Panchayat as a tobacco-free zone on Monday in presence of deputy CEO Dr Jayaprava Bodo and other dignitaries, in a review meeting organized at the Manaha GP office. Earlier, the CEO reviewed the incomplete PMAY-G houses with the beneficiaries. Thereafter, Dr. Jayaprava Bodo spoke about tobacco consumption and its ill-effects.
