TAMULPUR: A family was saved somehow from a Mortar bomb blast incident at Paharpur village along Indo-Bhutan border in Tamulpur district on Monday noon. The bomb has hit the house of Ananta Ramchiary during a bomb blast training of Punjab Regiment at the Sukanuli Firing Range along the Indo-Bhutan border under the supervision of the Artillery Unit of the Indian Army's 222 Regiment. A 105 mm smoke bomb fell on the top of the house of Ananta Ramchiary in the village. The bomb fell on the ground of the verandah of the house.
