MP Pabitra Margherita lays foundation stone of guest house in Raidonggia village

NAGAON: Rajya Sabha MP Pabitra Margherita laid the foundation stone of a guest house of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Vishwavidyalaya at its proposed site Raidonggia village on Thursday.

The fund for the construction of the guest house of the Vishwavidyalaya was sanctioned from MP fund by Margherita himself. The inaugural function was initiated with a welcome address by Babul Bora, secretary general of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha.

The Chancellor of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Vishwavidyalaya and 'Padadhikar' of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha Kamalakanta Gogoi, Registrar of the Vishwavidyalaya, Mrinal Kr Bora, chief adviser to Srimanta Sankardev Sangha, Bhabendra Nath Deka, Nikunja Mohan Goswami, executive engineer, PWD, Building, Nagaon, Gouri Prasad Sarma, information and public relations officer of Srimanta Sankardev Vishwavidyalaya and other teachers as well as students from the Vishwavidyalaya were present in the programme.
