‘Multispecialty Medical Camp’ at Malow Khat Village, Jorhat

Tezpur: 5 Air Force Hospital and Jorhat district administration organized a Multispecialty medical camp at flood-affected Malow Khat village of Jorhat district as part of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and 87th Air Force Day celebrations. Air Commodore Sanjay Bhargava, Air Officer Commanding 5 Air Force Hospital, Addl Deputy Commissioner Jorhat S Gwala and SDM Bipul Das Jorhat jointly inaugurated the Multispecialty Medical camp. President AFWWA Local 5 AFH Mugdha Bhargava along with her team also joined hands in reaching out to people affected by the floods.

Specialists along with their teams from Medical, Surgery, Anesthesia, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Eye, ENT, Dental, Dermatology and Pathology were present in the camp to extend their services. A dispensary was also set up for distributing medicines free of cost. Lectures on Preventive Medicine, Health & hygiene and basic life support in case of heart attack and other emergencies were also conducted by specialist officers.
