Naba Kumar Doley campaigns in Dhakuakhana Constituency under Lakhimpur district

LAKHIMPUR: Naba Kumar Doley, the BJP-AGP-UPPL candidate for No. 112 Dhakuakhana Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC) under Lakhimpur district, took part in a series of election campaign programmes on Thursday.

The State Panchayat and Rural Development Minister started his campaign of the day after offering his prayers at the Kundi-Mama Mandir of the Deuri community located at Balideuri under Dhakuakhana-Majuli border area. Then he took part in a number of campaign programmes at Borbari and Potia Sapori under Ghilamora Development Block of his native LAC. BJP State executive members Basanta Saikia, Lakheswar Saikia and Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) leader Mahesh Doley also took part in the campaign programmes along with him.

Addressing the public, Naba Kumar Doley appealed to the people of Dhakuakhana to vote for him for comprehensive development of the LAC. He called upon all to give one more chance to the BJP to form government in the State by extending support to the BJP-AGP-UPPL candidates. People of the Deuri community accorded Naba Kumar Doley a warm welcome by staging traditional cultural programmes at Balideuri.
