Nagrijuli resident dies of COVID-19 in Baksa district

BAKSA: Chabilal Khanal (71) of Baltipar village in Baksa district died of COVID-19. According to Chabilal's family members, he suffered from respiratory distress on Thursday evening and was shifted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.

At the hospital, he was tested COVID-19 positive and then admitted to the COVID Hospital in Guwahati's Kalapahar the same night.

A team of doctors announced that Chabilal died at 5.30 am on Saturday. A total of 9 persons including children who came in contact with Chabilal were tested COVID-19 positive when they underwent a COVID test on Saturday.

All the victims of COVID-19 have been kept under home quarantine.
