Nalbari Sahitya Samaj celebrated Nalbari District Day

NALBARI: Nalbari Sahitya Samaj celebrated the Nalbari District Day on Monday at Rajendra Choudhury Bhawan in Nalbari. The 38th foundation day of the district since its recognition on August 14, 1985 was celebrated with a memorial speech by Ajit Rajbangshi, a noted story writer. Manash Jyoti Sarma, the secretary of Nalbari Sahitya Samaj conducted the celebration. Pradip Sarma, Dr Binoy Kumar Mazumdar, Mrinmoy Sarma and many were present in the programme. As per the schedule of the programme, earthen lamps were lighted at the premises of Nalbari Sahitya Samaj.
