Name excluded from final NRC list despite having proper documents: Rishiram Pokhrel

UDALGURI: Rishiram Pokhrel, the vice-president of Northeast Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, has alleged that despite having proper documents, the NRC officials had maliciously not figured his name in the final NRC list. At the time when he interacted with the officials during hearing, they admitted that his documents were sufficient to figure his name in the NRC. The names of his brother and daughter have been included using the same documents but his name and his son’s name have been excluded, said Pokhrel. He had submitted the land jamabandi copy of March 28, 1952 and an additional passbook patta where his name and his father’s name were mentioned. He said that it was a case of utter negligence and that he would now approach the court to get justice.
