Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan in Udalguri district

TANGLA: As a part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan of the Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment, the Social Welfare Department, Udalguri in collaboration with the Rural Organization for Social Service (ROSS) NGO and Childline Udalguri conducted an awareness campaign on prevention of alcoholism and drug abuse across Udalguri district including Tangla, Bhergaon, Kalaigaon, Khoirabari, Paneri to fight unitedly against the menace of drug abuse prevalent among youths of the region. Udalguri DSWO-cum-CDPO Nilakshi Bordoloi along with the officials of Social Welfare Department Udalguri carried out leaflet distribution and announcement to create awareness over the current scenario on drug and alcohol threat.
