National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development organized ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ programme

BISWANATH CHARIALI: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) organized an ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ programme with the theme ‘Achievements @75: Transforming lives and NABARD’s contribution’ in Biswanath district of Assam on Thursday.

Dr Pallav Kumar Sharma, the chief scientist of Biswanath College of Agriculture, was the chief guest of the programme held at the Centre for Financial Literacy Centre of Biswanath.

Pritam Kumar Nath, the District Development Manager of NABARD, Sonitpur district, addressed the event and made a power-point presentation on the journey of NABARD and its intervention in the district.

The centre manager of Centre for Financial Literacy, Debojit Borah; the secretary of CADAT, Monoranjan Hazarika, Jumisree Bharali, Sandeep Boruah attended the event. Besides them, the people from Sootea, Balipukhuri and Koilajuli were also present there.
