National Company Law Tribunal adjourns hearing on HPC paper mills

JAGIROAD: The hearing of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Delhi Bench on HPC paper mills issue on Monday was adjourned again and re-fixed on October 7, 2020.

No information has been received on any formal proposal from the Government of Assam till today. Manobendra Chakravarty, president of CPPWU (INTUC) and JACRU, and Ananda Bordoloi, general secretary of KNKU and JACRU, said that if the government was genuinely sincere on its commitment, the formal proposal must reach the NCLT before the next date of hearing, i.e. October 7.
