National Disaster Rapid Force team tries to recover body of missing person

UDALGURI: The National Disaster Rapid Force (NDRF) team was at Bhairabkunda to trace a missing person in the Dhansiri River. The NDRF team tried to recover his body from the water but due to strong current and flood, the team had to return unsuccessful. Bishnu Upadhyaya (32) of Udalguri Khankhlabari village went to Bhairabkunda to celebrate Independence Day with another person of the same locality and did no return home. His colleague Bhrigu Sarma returned alone. Someone claimed seeing a body floating near the sluice gate. With this input, the police, SDRF and NDRF team tried to trace the body of missing person.
