National Medicos Organisation (NMO) Organised Statewide Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on Lachit Diwas

GUWAHATI: To mark the occasion of Lachit Diwas 2021, National Medicos Organisation (NMO) in collaboration with Seva Bharati Purbachal organised a statewide voluntary blood donation camp Raktadhara at 27 different places of the state.

On the occasion, Partha Sarathi Mahanta, Deputy Inspector General of Police (AP), Assam also attended the voluntary blood donation camp organised at the auditorium complex of Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH).

A voluntary blood donation camp Raktadhara was set up at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital auditorium complex along with 26 other places of the state.

Notably, since its inception in 1977, NMO has remained in the front line in the arena of humanitarian services in calamities like Bhopal gas tragedy, cyclones in Andhra Pradesh, Drought in Banaskantha, Surat plague, Latur earthquake, Tsunami in South India, Flood relief in Kashmir, Kerala, Assam and Nepal Earthquake etc.
