National Poshan Month- 2023 celebrated in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: In line with the National Poshan Month- 2023, the State Government centrally celebrated it at Golaghat Samannayskhetra on Friday.

State Finance and Women and Child Welfare Minister Ajanta Neog, Agriculture Minister Atul Bora, MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, MLA from Sarupathar constituency, Biswajit Phukan, MLA from Khumtai constituency, Mrinal Saikia and other high-level officials were present as dignitaries in the programme.

In this meeting, the District Transport Department staged a street drama in line with road safety. A puppet show was performed by the Anganwadi workers to create awareness against child marriage.

Minister Atul Bora gave a brief overview on the quality of food and hoped that millet farmers would prosper. Minister Ajanta Neog called upon all to play an important role in providing nutritious food to the mothers of the family.
