National Press Day to be observed at headquarter town of Sadiya Chapakhowa

DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of Sadiya subdivision administration and Subdivision Information and Public Relation (SDIPR) office, and in association with Sadiya Press Club, National Press Day will be observed at Chapakhowa, the headquarter town of Sadiya, on November 16.

In a preparatory meeting held on Friday under the presidentship of Sub-divisional Information & Public Relation Officer Priyamjyoti Phukan, it was decided to hold a symposium on the topic 'The role of press in nation building' on that day. SDO(Civil) in-charge ADC Anupam Deka will be the coordinator of the symposium while journalist Dhiren Deka will attend the programme as chief guest. Besides the members of the Sadiya Press Club, the meeting was attended by Ayejar Rahman and Abhi Kumar Gogoi of SDIPR office, Sadiya.
