National Water Mission programme inaugurated at Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of Nehru Yuba Kendra (NYK), Tinsukia and with active cooperation of Naba Prayash, Doomdooma, the National Water Mission programme was inaugurated by Sayed Ali, State Coordinator, NYK at Doomdooma Sakha Xahitya Xabha Bhavan on Thursday.

In his address, he explained at length about economic uses of water, stopping misuse and the Central Government's Water Life scheme. The programme, which was anchored by resource person Mukunda Bora, was attended by Utpal Chakraborty, State Accounts Officer, NYK, Tinsukia District Youth Co-ordinator, NYK, Mayashankar Verma, other dignitaries, members of Naba Prayash and about 100 members of other youth, women clubs and self-help groups.
