Nayan Kumar Barua takes over as New Executive Director & Refinery Head of Bongaigaon Refinery

BONGAIGAON: Nayan Kumar Barua has taken over as the Executive Director & Refinery Head of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bongaigaon Refinery on February 1. He was heading Bongaigaon Refinery as Chief General Manager & Refinery Head.

A graduate in Chemical Engineer from the Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Barua had joined Indian Oil Corporation Limited in 1993. Barua has over 30 years of extensive experience in the oil refining sector. He brings to the table a rich and diverse experience garnered from working in other refineries of Indian Oil, both within and outside the State in many critical areas that includes Production, Technical Services, Projects, Health, Safety and Environment. With future-ready business insight and people-centric leadership style, Barua nurtures a strong vision of leveraging technology and innovation for growth of Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
